"According to a Japanese legend a wish comes true if you fold a thousand paper cranes. After the atomic bombings the Japanese girl Sadako became ill with leukemia. At the hospital young Sadako started to fold paper cranes wishing that there would never ever be war again! She folded a thousand paper cranes for peace before she died Sadako was in my age when she died. She died but her dream is still alive! I carry the same dream in my heart! I have folded origami figures in happy colors as a symbol for a world in peace. Origami figures for a wish we all share; a world in peace!"
