| "Obraz je vyjádřením hrůzy z jaderné zbraně. Vidíme výbuch, padající bombu, spálenou zem, zničený dům, kde dříve žili lidé. Uprostřed hrůz je umírající strom se zpola ohořelými větvemi a kmenem. Do dříve čistého potůčku vtéká kontaminovaná voda. Nad vším se rozprostírají černé mraky zoufalství. Kupole, která jakoby chrání strom je vyjádřením naděje, že strom nezemře.
The painting is an expression of the horrors of nuclear weapons. We see an explosion, falling bombs, burned down, destroyed the house where people lived before. In the middle of the horrors of a dying tree with half-burnt branches and trunk. The pure stream flows previously contaminated water. Above all spread out black clouds of despair. The dome, which seems to protect the tree is an expression of hope that the tree dies." |
