| "My painting is mixed media
The origami cranes dropping the hearts signify Japan. The paper cranes drop hearts instead of bombs releasing their love and harmony on the world. The red and white stripes signify the Japanese rising sun flag. In New Zealand where I live, we are already nuclear free. The peace sign represents this, and I hope the rest of the world will join the movement too." |
